Pupils from IGF’s main primary in Kitgum and Amida primary have been on a winning streak, winning trophies for extra-curricular activities. In the past few weeks, IGF teams have won in netball, soccer, debating and also Music, Dance and Drama (MDD) competitions.

IGF’s Amida Primary School retained its title as champions of the Kitgum District Primary Schools music, dance and drama competition (MDD). This is the second year in a row that they have won this competition. Teams from local primary schools are required to perform in the three categories (music, dance and drama), and are scored in each area. The school scoring highest overall are crowned the champions. After winning at the District level, IGF’s Amida pupils went on to complete at the Regional level. They performed extremely well but unfortunately they were not successful in moving onto the next round. We are incredibly proud of this group, who have performed for the President of Uganda, and other senior Government Officials and guests in the past.

It is so wonderful to see the pupils engaging in extra-curricular activities and developing their talents. We are so proud of our hardworking pupils and teachers – well done!
