Over the Easter celebration, Uganda Christian Medical Fellowship together with Rock Church Ministries conducted a 4-day Medical Mission at IGF’s Community Church and Maternity Centre.
The team of 12 doctors and 38 medical students came from all over Uganda to IGF in Kitgum, to provide free medical services to the community. A gynaecologist even travelled from Nigeria, while a pharmacist joined the team from the United States. The team provided free medical services including general check-ups, dental, optical, gynaecological tests and much more. Over 700 community members from Kitgum and surrounding areas received the free medical services over the 4 days.
The team also spent time at Mighty Fire FM, sharing health and medical talk shows and advice with the 1.5 million+ listeners in Northern Uganda.
During the evenings a Gospel Crusade also took place at Kitgum Bus park.
Such a wonderful Easter Gift to the community of Kitgum and wider Northern Uganda, from these Christian Doctors! Praise God!
