Providing powdered milk to malnourished, orphaned and vulnerable infants is an important part of the Health project at IGF. Infants are left needing powdered milk after their mothers’ have passed during/after childbirth, if their mothers are HIV+, or if the mother is unable to produce milk for other reasons.
We currently have over 20 infants receiving powdered milk, medical care, clothing and blankets, both at IGF and through our outreach program into villages
Without such intervention and support from IGF and donors, many of these young infants would likely not survive.
You can contribute to the purchase of powdered milk by making a monthly contribution to the Health Project at IGF.
