At IGF our aim is to empower a community to provide for themselves, ultimately reducing their dependence on others. Watch this video and see how the community is beginning to provide for their children via an innovative farming project.
Investing just once in an IGF sustainable project can help provide permanent ongoing funding for children.
You invest in a sustainable project
These projects help to establish a profitable Ugandan farm
100% of ongoing profits from the farm go to help children...year after year
Each project is at one of 3 stages, as can be seen below.
The first step to making IGF projects a reality is raising funds! We have several sustainable projects that you can be part of if you would like to invest in the future of Ugandan children.

Once all the funds are raised for a project, we go to work, beginning to implement our project plan. We will keep you informed of our progress via regular updates.

We commit to providing ongoing information about the project you have invested in after it is completed. That way you can see how the benefits flow for years to come.

This is what we want to do next.
Donate today or help raise funds to get these projects happening faster. Every dollar counts.
Currently, a majority of IGF services are funded by ongoing donations through international child sponsorship. Our dream is to ensure the project becomes self-sustainable, where we empower the local community to provide these services for the children directly. This not only eliminates dependance on others, but restores dignity and freedom to the community.
Our goal is to establish an agricultural project that will provide income generation through self-sustainable maize crop production which can be used to provide the funds required to manage the multiple IGF children’s services.
Financial Outcomes:
It is expected the project will generate AUD$52,080 return over the first 12 months, and increasing in subsequent years as coverage and efficiency increases.
NB: All subsequent seasons (after season 1) will provide higher returns, as capital costs will be incurred in season 1 only
TOTAL GROSS REVENUE
AUD$ 148,000.00
TOTAL NET REVENUE
AUD$ 52,080.00
Beneficiary Outcomes:
The income generated from this project will be used for:
• Operational running costs for the 4 IGF Primary Schools and the Vocational College (4,500 students), including; teacher salaries, text
books, clean water access for the local community and school feeding.
• Children’s medical clinics including; milk for babies in the children’s
hospital, treatment for malaria, immunisation.
• Vocational training resources inlcuding; tools and materials for sewing,
carpentry and building.
This project is tax deductible.

Our dream is to become 100% self-sustainable, where we empower the local community to provide these services for the children directly. This not only eliminates dependance on others, but restores dignity and freedom to the community.
Our goal is to establish an irrigation system that will assist with income generation, as it enables higher value crops such as tomatoes and onions to be grown. The increased profits from this type of farming can be used to help fund the multiple IGF children’s services.
Financial Outcomes:
It is expected the project will generate AUD$160,545 profit over the first 12 months, and increasing in subsequent years.
TOTAL GROSS REVENUE
AUD$ 296,400

After initial installation costs are expended the income generation of the project excels. The net profit in the second year is estimated at AUD$206,200.

A key need on the farm is to create a source of water. Therefore we want to drill a waterbore to provide an ongoing supply of water for our needs.
24 Jan 2020
Drilling takes place on our waterbore. See photos below.
06 Dec 2020
On Monday, we will do the survey of the land, and after that borehole drilling will start. After drilling and testing is completed then we will install submersible solar pumps.
We are establishing a piggery as part of our farm project. All ongoing profits from the piggery will fund the clean water, nutrition, health and education of the children.
06 Dec 2020
We have paid for animal feed for the piggery project and are sourcing pigs.
Teamwork! We did it! With your generosity and some hard work in Uganda we have completed these projects.
We will keep you informed how these project continues to impact the children.
To expand the use of our farmland, we need machinery for ploughing, planting, weed control and transportation.
06 Dec 2020
We have now purchased all necessary equipment for the farm. Thank you so much to all those that contributed to this. See photos below.
